Weather

Number one of course, the weather here in Marbella boasts an average of 320 days sunshine and the Mediterranean ocean surrounding the area is usually calm and warm. Average temperatures range between 15-20ºC throughout the year, and in the Summer months can reach up to 40+ºC.

Beaches

With 30km of beaches in Marbella, there's plenty of spots to choose from. From the busier hotspots like Playa Padre and Le Plage Casanis, through to quieter coves and the 2 ports in between.

Beach Clubs

If you prefer to spend your days enjoying the sunshine in a more luxurious setting, check out one of Marbella's many pool and beach clubs. Starting with Nikki Beach in Elviria, there are a variety of lively and more relaxed options along the area's coastline finishing with Ocean Club in Puerto Banus.

Gastronomy

From afternoon tapas, to paella on the beach, Marbella offers an incredible range and level of both casual dining and more formal options. The area also boasts multiple restaurants by Michellin starred chef Dani Garcia.

With the neighbouring wine country of Ronda, restaurants in Marbella not only serve exquisite cuisine, but they also serve some of the best International and local wines.

Marbella Old Town

The cobbled streets of Marbella old town attract both tourists and locals to it's many unique boutiques, bars and delicious restaurants. The heart of the old town is undoubtedly Plaza de los Naranjos, which is a picture perfect backdrop to the neighbouring cathedral of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnacion.

Puerto Banus

A great visit by day or night - The World Famous Puerto Banus, with it's array of superyachts, high-end designer boutiques and oppulent restaurants. The atmosphere here is always buzzing. By night, the port comes alive with roof top bars and nightclubs.

Golf

If golfing is your thing, you will not be disappointed with the golf courses here. The Costa del Sol is in fact renowned for it's incredible courses, and Marbella of course offers some of the most exclusive of them all. Some of the most popular golf courses in the area include: Marbella Golf & Country Cub, Los Naranjos Golf and Country Club and the Marbella Club Golf Course.

La Concha

If you're in to hiking, exercise or just picturesque scenery, Marbella has the perfect climbing frame for you. Climbed by many, the beautiful back drop of the golden mile is La Concha Mountain.

Schools

Marbella is home to some of the highest ranking International Schools in Southern Spain as well as an American school, Montessori School and German College. There is also a wide choice of public schools in the area.

Accessibility

No matter your means of transport, Marbella is easily accessible from anywhere in Europe. By boat, there are two ports - Marbella and Puerto Banus; by plane you can fly in to either Malaga or Gibraltar and by car you can easily reach Marbella on both the coastal road or paid Autopista. Marbella is also relatively flat, you could even cycle or run between Marbella old town and Puerto Banus!
